My firmware update was stuck. I followed the instructions to unpair the watch from Bluetooth and then I added a new device from within the app. I then re-paired the watch and now the firmware update is successful.
I tried the steps and it worked for me. My sync used to get stuck at 93%.
My Sync to iPhone from X5 runs to 99% , but never finishes. I did re pair the device, but it sticks at 99%. I did use X5 today for the first time to record 10 Holes of golf. I did end the round. The Club and Round Score shows on my X5 Watch in Histor,, but I cannot get Sync to complete.
Also at what point does the X5 watch record a shot as complete. E.g. I use the Driver, tag it worked fine. I walk to ball, pick a new club from bag. Is it when that tag is read that the previous shot is counted. Important therefore not to allow tag to occur until exactlky at ball, rather than when club is first picked from bag, which may be some distance in some casers, where you have to leave bag away from where ball is placed, e.g. around green where you might carry two clubs to the ball.
I also found on some greens, as I enter the green, the Number of Putts at 2 showed immediately, before I got to my ball, or even beore I tagged the Putter. So how can X5 measure the shot to the Green, or the distance of any putts
While I have been typing this detail, my iPhone is still showing at 99%. The X5 is located right beside ny watch and WiFi is good.
Most disappointing
