Could you please try the following steps below to resolve the issue:
*Disconnect the device
*Switch the device off
*Remove the device from your phones or tablets Bluetooth settings. This can be found in General Settings>Bluetooth Settings on most devices.
*Manually log out the app (closing the app doesn't log you out)
*Close the app
*Open the app
*Type email address and password to login
*Switch device on
*Connect device
*Re-try the firmware update ensuring that your phone/tablet are in close proximity to each other during the entirety of the update. This will ensure the Bluetooth connection is maintained.
Its also important to make sure the WIFI connection is strong, the Shot Scope device and the phone/tablet are near to each other and that the device isn't interrupted during the process (best to keep it on the Shot Scope app until sync is complete).

Still no joy
i get booted after a short time.
The connectivity is appalling. Had the watch since the early days and hardly use it as firmware updates are impossible and syncing rounds is torture.
None of the troubleshooting works so watch has been a big waste of money and has completely turned me off Shot Scope as a brand.
