How to Wear the Shot Scope Watch While Playing
To ensure accurate shot tracking, it’s important to wear your Shot Scope watch correctly. Here's how to get the best performance from your device:
Which Wrist Should I Wear It On?
- Right-handed golfers should wear the watch on their left wrist (glove hand).
- Left-handed golfers should wear it on their right wrist.
This positioning ensures the watch is closest to the club tags during your swing.
Note: By default, the watch is configured for right-handed players.
Watch Placement for Best Results
- Wear the watch low on your wrist, close to your hand — it should be within 10 cm of the club tag when swinging.
- Avoid wearing the watch too high up your arm, as this can reduce tag detection accuracy.
Avoid Wearing Other Devices
To prevent interference with the RFID tracking system, we strongly recommend not wearing other items on either wrist, such as:
- Fitness trackers (e.g. Fitbit)
- Smartwatches
- Metal or magnetic wrist accessories
These can interfere with the signal and compromise shot detection.
Wearing your Shot Scope device correctly ensures the most accurate data and the best possible experience on the course.
